| | Model of the car: | Isuzu VehiCROSS | | | General comments: | $29,880. I love my Vehicross and have lived with it for 15 months in day to day driving. It still gets a strong reaction wherever you park it, people seem to have a love it or hate it reaction to the styling. It's a vehicle I still look forward to driving everyday and performance in the snow this winter was better than my old Explorer and on a par with our old Jeep Wrangler. The Recaro seats sold me the minute I sat in them. I consider this the perfect choice for someone who wants a four wheel drive performance sport vehicle and is intrigued by the mechanics of the amazing shock absorbers (wonderful at speed offroad) and does not really need to use the back seat that much hauling people. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Rear visibility takes getting used to, but it no worse than a van we once owned. I'd really like to have a REAL drink holder in the front, two would be better. Getting in the back seats can be a problem for those who are not very limber. | | | Previous car: | More civilized for offroad than the Jeep Wrangler and easier to live with. Better performance and handling than my old Ford Explorer. No other SUV I've driven handles as well and has such distinctive styling. |
