| | Model of the car: | Isuzu VehiCROSS | | | General comments: | First of all my Vx is a japanese import. I saw one in the car park at Mammoth Mountain while snowboarding earlier this year and was blown away by the styling, and was going to import one from the US, However I managed to locate a brand new imported one in the UK.The Vx is not available from Isuzu in the UK, which is fine by me as I get offer to buy my little truck every day. But nothing will make me sell this amazing vehicle. The revolutionary suspension means that I can powerslide my car around corners in 2wd mode and point and go in 4wd without any worries about stability. Parking is easy, sorry people but mine has the great reaw view camera and dash mounted TV screen. I had a custom switch installed so that I can turn the reiw view cam on anytime. The clarity of the image, even at night is very impressive.(Also got a TV tuner installed so I can watch TV while stuck in traffic, which unfortunately is too often in London. London is not exactly mountainous but trips to the in-laws in the country and going clay shooting has demonstrated the Vx is no 'soft-roader'. It easy to get fatigued while stuck in traffic but those beautiful recaros just seem to massaged any back stain away. The straight line performance of this vehicle has caused a few dropped jaws and kicking in the power mode and engaging fwd has left a few lesser ( but more expensive ) SUVs severely embarassed. My Vx, my beautiful new wife, and I are off to the Alps in France in a couple of weeks. I have no worries that the Vx is up to the job. Buy one. Buy one now. you will never regret it. Its not for everyone, but isn't that part of the appeal? This is a very serious off roader, but it also has impeccable table manners and is unlikely to tell crude jokes in front of you mother. I'm a musician and carry three large keyboards + rack mounted gear amps and speakers, all over the country. The Vx neither complains or shows any significant performance loss regardless of load. Be like everyone else own a jeep or dare to be different.After all why be a sheep when you can be a wolf? | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | This is a tough one.
